THE news that Bruce Jack's Flagstone Winery has been purchased by Constellation is potentially of greater importance to Brand SA than the annual exporters' tasting in London this week. Jack is one of the country's most innovative wine makers and wine marketers. While he talks a good talk, he has done quite a lot of the walking and he could fairly claim to be one of the few figures in the Cape who understands vines, wines and the international market.
