Exclusive wine gifts for the Festive Season
Flagstone Winery in Somerset West will launch their Festive Season gift range in November.
These gifts will be exclusive to Flagstone’s Tasting Room.
PICNIC HAMPERS
Flagstone’spopular Fish Hoek range will form part of a fun and affordable
picnic range, perfect for a lazy afternoon at the beach.
Picnic baskets – R150each
- Blue picnic basket with blue beach mat, two plastic glasses and two bottles of Fish
Hoek Merlot.
- Green picnic basket with green beach mat, two plastic glasses and two bottles of
Fish Hoek Sauvignon Blanc.
Beach hampers – R80 each
- Blue beach mat, two plastic wine glasses and a bottle of Fish Hoek Merlot.
- Green beach mat, two plastic wine glasses and a bottle of Fish Hoek Sauvignon Blanc.
- Purple beach mat, two plastic wine glasses and a bottle of Fish Hoek Shiraz.
- Pink beach mat, two plastic wine glasses and a bottle of Fish Hoek Rosé.
RARE DRAGON TREE HAMPERS
These extremely limited hampers come with a rich history attached. The Dragon Tree
is originally from the Canary Islands and is known for its blood red sap. Legend tells
of a wicked Dragon who sat at the Pillars of Hercules and blasted shipswith lashings
of fire as they sailed past. Eventually she was mortally woundedand flew forlornly
off to sea to die. Only where her blood landed on earth (ona few remote islands
and around the edge of the Mediterranean) do Dragon Trees grow.
Flagstone’s Dragon Tree Wine is named after the Dragon Tree given to the Port
Captain of Cape Town, by a passing ship's captain over 100 years ago. And while the
tree died during the fierce Cape Town storms in August 2001, it has since been immortalised
in Flagstone’s wine that bears the same name.
- Dragon Tree (Dracus Dracea) bonsai in a ceramic pot with a 2005 Dragon Tree Pinotage
& Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Only 10 available at R300 each.
- Coleonema Cello bonsai in a ceramic pot with a 2005 Dragon Tree Pinotage & Cabernet
Sauvignon blend. 100 hampers available at R250 each.

JEWELLERY HAMPERS
Flagstone teamed up with Scarab Jewellery for amazing wine hampers with added bling.
The following gifts will be exclusively available at Flagstone’s Tasting Room
and Scarab Jewellery from 1 November.
- 2006 Free Run Sauvignon Blanc and a Scarab daisy pendant with rock crystal.
R1000 each.
- 2006 Fiona Pinot Noir and a Scarab heart pendant with amethyst. R900 each.
